'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Straight Outta 'Fleet Street'

Time to put this January Transfer Window into perspective. Swooped, Snubbed, Failed, Stunned and Thwarted shriek the sports hacks headlines...

...and there'll be more to come from 'The Street of Shame*' as midnight on thursday approaches. Are Manchester City clearly not prepared to be held to ransom? Has Frank Shinawatra really got any money? Did Svennis really bid for all these players at a time when major deals are rarely made? Is he still about to pull off a massive transfer coup or is he as fed up with all the media driven specualation as the rest of us?

So here they are. The sensationally 'swooped for' one's that got away or will suddenly be joining us, as the MCFC Aladdin's cave of Frank's loot unleashes itself in a whirlwind of Societe Generale style spending....and don't get me started on the players who are supposed to have left us this month!

JB... I think that is only the tip of the iceberg I am sure the media frenzy will go into overdrive in the closing hours of the transfer window..... Sod 'em all Sven and stick with what you have !!!

I've drifted back to thinking exactly the same way alph! Siege mentality here we come! One things for sure, the players we have will know each other better with each passing game. Too many new additions could rock that boat.

I see the latest "name" today is Beckham !!!

snap! just how our supposed transfer list looks, long, lengthy and expensive - common connection - loadsa, loadsa money!
merlin
LOL merlin! I must tell you that there is a school of thought knocking around Mcr that we haven't got loadsamoney as this month has so far shown. The rumour is that Frank's signings to date are all "on the drip.." All will be revealed, but as a wizard, do you have any idea if that's the MCFC case or not?!
Johnny Baguette
I don't think at this moment Frank has a lot of ready cash, He has most of his cash frozen still in Thailand, and no sign as yet of it being any different.
Buzz Lightyear
It would appear that Onuoha's agent is touting for a move and says that Nedum is unhappy at not playing.
