I can't decide whether refereeing is at an all time low or is it the stupid rule making Tinkering T**ts at the FA are to blame.

Alphie, the time has come to catch up with the rest of sport and introduce technology. There is no need to stop play and let a fourth offical have a look and decide matters that have arisen eg is the goal a good one. You could take the decision of the assistant referee to decide offside out of his authority. This of course will never happen. I raise this because some linesmen put their flag up when the ball is kicked and some put it up when the player offside touches the ball, it is just a minefield. The easiest thing is to say all offsides are offside and then have technology if it results in a goal to see if it is legal. They do it in Rugby, why not here in Football. Got a nose bleed, just getting down off the soapbox.
