Richards Signs New Deal

Richards Signs New Deal

The official MCFC website have announced that Micah Richards has signed a new 5 year deal at the club.

Speculation was rife that Micah was holding out for a club record £70,000 a week but City were refusing to compromise and break their wage structure.

However both parties obviously now have come to an agreement which assures Micah's medium term future at the club.

After a relatively quiet, yet bizzare, January transfer window this is potentially City's biggest signing of the season both in terms of securing the services of one of the best young players in England and protecting his value should the vultures come sniffing.

Some positive vibes coming out of Eastlands on the back of the Benjani coup. fair play to Micah and his dad for staying on board and seeing sense. now he can really concentrate on improving his game instead of risking the destabilising benchwarming on offer elsewhere.
