Don't forget it also includes stewarding. Must be a few hundred of them at any game. There is also a gap kept between home and away fans. Also, our capacity isn't 48,000 as is often quoted. More like 47,500. Scousers would probably have sold their full allocation but still wasn't ever going to be more than 47,500.

seating certaining cut down attendances, I have been to Maine road with 50+ thousand in there, when we Giant killed Blackpool after drawing 1-1 at their place, beat them at home 3-1, didn't see **ck all. evetually we were beaten by Everton after two replays.
One thing seating dose, you can see the match.
