They are both tossers, you would have thought Tyler would be grateful for City making him as famous as Kenneth wolstenholme.

More famous than he'd like if he's being blamed for Parry's commentary

No the other one

Never heard of him

Whose coverage did you watch, Bluedub? Saw JB comment about Tyler as well.

I've got Sky now, so saw it at home - it was Alan Parry and David Provan for me.

A stream on EPLsite. I've since learned that it was S*y's international feed ( didn't know that was a thing until today ) and have also learned that it was Zinedine Kilbane that was co commentator.

I wanted to know because I was taken aback by how impartial the co commentary was. Fair play to Zinedine.

Davey Proven is a poor summariser, adds very little, misses loads and as far as I am concerned either rarely gives credit to City or is damning in his faint praise. Berk.

Provan has proven many times that he's nothing but a c**t.

We have lift off!

Manuel Pellegrini and his charges will be desperate to prove the "MAN CITY WON'T MAKE THE TOP FOUR" pundits and kick off their premier league season with a bang. Question is - will the baggies spoil the party?

Manuel Pellegrini will be confident with the news of his contract extension putting to bed the speculation surrounding Pep Guardiola - at least until we suffer our first loss of the season! Up against him will be Tony "I love MCFC" Pulis, and the prospect of besting a title contender at home on the first day of the season.

City have reinforced in the shape of Sterling, with at least one more player to come, and have added the exciting prospects of Lopes, Iheanacho and Denayer to the squad, but I expect a very familiar looking team to take to the pitch. There will however be several notable absences, with our Argies and Brazilians given extended time off after a less than relaxing summer away at the Copa.

Opening day fixtures are a funny mix of anticipation and dread. If your team is ready and up for the game, a resounding win can send out a statement. On the other hand, a loss, even an unlucky one can put a dampener on the spirits of everyone connected to the club.

Here's hoping the team turn up and do what should come natural to them - beat WBA!

The questions:

1 Guess the attendance (The Hawthorns holds 26850)
2 Predict the time of the first goal
3 Name the first goal scorer
4 Predict the correct scoreline

Bonus: Will there be a headed goal in this game? A simple Y/N answer is all that is required, and a bonus of 3 points will be awarded for a correct anwer

Happy predicting!
