Silva ran the game. Great contributions from Toure and Mangala.

Everyone chipped in tonight. Great stuff.

The little wizard was at his mesmerising best, no one comes close to him when he's in that type of form.

I think Roberto Martinez was right, commenting on Silva, you really can't stop him, you have stop the supply to him. A few mentions, Mangala started out like he did first game last season excellent, but this time he looks the money. Kolarov and Navas, but it is goals that count and Yaya got us on our way.

Merlin Yaya and Navas with honourable mentions to everybody else- Midfield looks so much calmer with Fern back as well.

Sterlings presence helped Navas as invariable there were 2 players tracking him leaving great gaps for Jesus. Methinks Chelsea will not be as accommodating. 1 game played - 3points above arse with a 5 goal better difference. Brilliant.

Silva is just amazing.

Fernandinho - took a couple for the team and passed like a demon.

Yaya faded a bit in the second half, but his class is evident- quite glad he stayed!

A table topping performance from the team, special mention to Merlin who ran the show, now for that team in south London.

Just Silva, for me. He was unstoppable, as usual. Perhaps this is the year he gets a nod or two from the press for player of the year, both in England and abroad.

No contest really - Silva at his majestic best. Outstanding.

After much thought I also voted for Fernandinho who put in a very disciplined performance in front of the back four and supplied a great pass forward which led to Toure's second.

Everyone was on the money last night.

I think DS is going to need some protection from referees on this form . WBA tried to kick him off the park, and they won't be the only team to do that. Towards the end of the game , I wanted MP to play with eight men and take off DS , Yaya, and Sergio, I was that worried that they would get injured.

Sterling needs to learn that he is not at the dippers anymore, so stop falling down , and he needs to improve his finishing.

Wilf needs fitness

That bit of skill in the second half at the end line when faced by two Baggies defenders which saw him wriggle free and put the ball across the face was just ridiculous.
