Same old Man City. Ruining academies now....

My prediction for the cheap and easy media headlines will be them comparing the cost of De Bruyne with Iheanacho.......

Personally I thought De Bruyne made a decent contribution, some exquiisite passes, no attempt at showboating, a few wayward losses of possession but overall did alright IMO

Gutted Sergio had to go off but I think KDB is going to be a massive player for us and what a day for the young lad.

Just watched final score, they say Palace should have won it, but from the stats City had the better of the game and although I have not watched it yet until I get home 21 shot and 7 on target compared to 7/2 to pardews hatchet mob. To lose Aguero is really bad news, but with Silva , Aguero for most of the match and Super money bag Kev thrown in at the deep end, it was a well earned win, apparently palace defending deep, but all here say at the moment.

Could've gone either way Buzz, we were the better side second half and should've had a pen, Navas also missed an open goal after rounding keeper but they did have a couple of gilt edged chances - one was brilliantly saved by Hart and the other Gayle made a balls of ( replays suggest it was offside but no flag ).

Brilliant to come away with the three points all things considered and absolutely delighted for Nacho. :yeh:

MOTD - Shearer happy that Dann's scything down of Aguero merited only a yellow ("Aguero was too fast for him....he hasn't gone in studs up" - no Alan he's just taken the guy out at knee height and deliberately kicked him, but as you just kicked Neil Lennon's head once I suppose your standards are different).

Ian Wright on the other hand thought that it should have been red. For once Ian I agree with you :yup:

Are Palace the new Stoke City of a few years back. Great that we got the three points in the end.

Don't be too harsh on Navas, wrong foot, but you can bet he will be precision with his left from now on.

He should take a leaf out of Sergio's book, when he scored with his left against Chelsea, concentrating with his tongue between his teeth, knowing it was his weaker foot but what a finish.

Are Chelsea this seasons whipping boys, I doubt it, but thanks for the head start Maureen.

What made it more noticeable was that he thought the Watford player deserved red. Both a deliberate kick/contact to the knee.
