Dann can still get supplemental discipline, right? I feel that's going to happen after that challenge.

0-0 HT and I'll take it considering the upheaval with Kun.

But we are the footballing side and have reduced pardew's lot to offsides and charging hit and hopes.

Need to impose ourselves more in the final third next half and we'll be ok.

So half time reached and Pardew will be happy - clean sheet and City's brilliant striker removed from the pitch by an awful challenge.

Agree that the NBC commentary is balanced but was getting sick to death of the constant defence of Scott Dann "he's not that kind of player".......Sorry, err from the evidence of the disgracefully late and reckless challenge he quite clearly IS that kind of player. He has just shown you. :doh!:

We need to retain better possession inside their half - agree that Jones is not doing a great job, Palace niggly fouls and pushes not being punished and a number of occasions when the ball has been kicked away allowed to pass.

In respect of the Aguero challenge what annoys me is the insistence on the definition of recklessness and being 'out of control'. Dan's challenge was NOT reckless but it was deliberate foul play which endangered an opponent. It may get extended but that doesn't help us one bit this afternoon. :oh no:

Ray Houghton there sticking up for Dann Skoorb. Agreed. Nice to be spared the Sky propaganda though!

I'm not reading too much into the commentators views about Aguero being on the bench as a good sign. Probably more a statement of what I expect are woefully inadequate provision for the away team in terms of medical facilities.

Last season it was Besic on Aguero. This season it is Dann. A few years ago Clyne crocked him first game of the season.

Looks to have taken hefty bang on the right knee and it WILL be very sore. Touch and go for Tuesday.

Just over 72 hours before Juve and we have doubts over Aguero, Sterling and Silva :doh!: :doh!:
