At least we'll be first up on MotD.

Well done to the 'Ammers.

FT, 1-2.

Punished for poor defending, but the West Ham goal certainly had a charmed life at times.
Dust ourselves down, and we go again on Tuesday.

A few things for MP to mull over. Credit to the Hammers - hugely underrated.

Well, so much for our great start to the season.

Can't believe we couldn't score from all those chances. Kun doesn't look fit, neither does Sterling.

Makes me almost glad I'm not in Manchester!

Must do better

Fair play to West Ham, bodies on the line and got there reward.

Sorry if this upsets some but the officials helped West Ham achieve that today.

Doesn't upset me bd. I thought the ref was poor - gave some very soft free's in west ham's favour imo

I agree BD, the 'Corner' which led to their first goal should not have been given, but I do think we looked disjointed and with hindsight, maybe Demichelis would have been the better option, he marshals the back four better than most, but we have to kick on now and come back fighting. We are looking jaded and too many injuries early doors not a good sign.

City totally deserved at least a draw today. Admittedly WHU defended valiantly but effectively had a twelfth man with some awful refereeing decisions.
Thought De Bruyne, Toure, Sagna, Otamendi, all excellent today. Aguero is not up to speed yet. Kolarov, Sterling and Navas poor today.
Should have put Roberts on in place of Navas.

Bad day at the office. Thought De Bruyne looked good though. His first touch often looked Zola-esque.

Could have won but didn't. Need to pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and get back in there fighting. Still top of the league and lost to a very good side that will give a lot of teams problems this season. Looking forward to seeing how the rags and Chelsea deal with them.

I don't think we'd have been 2 down with Vinnie in the team somehow. Not sure what difference he'd have made but just think his presence would have been the difference.

We are going to get beat every now and then guys so keep the chins up !

If we're looking jaded now I hate to think what state we'll be in by October.

Only a week ago and all you could read about was the hunger and desire.

20+ shots and 10 + corners and only one goal to show for them suggests the reason for our defeat lies at the players feet rather than simply blaming the referee. I would suggest Navas made far more poor decisions than any of the officials.
