Well, Wazza scored didn't he so they will want to big up the England captain whilst Sterling's hatrick contravenes the "He's not worth umptygazillion and can't finish for toffee" narrative so they can't be highlighting the contrary evidence.

On the other side I wonder, despite the result, if Howard Kendall's passing might have influenced things.
