I'm going for three today because I can't choose between them - Kompany, Otamendi, Fernando, very good performances from all three kept the door closed.

Otamendi the stand out for me, and almost the match winner.
Fernie superb as well, although he'll miss a game through picking up 5 cards. Sky stated he would miss Palace, but not sure on that - is it PL only, or does the League Cup count? Either way, a pity.

Honourable mention to Fernando as well.

Ota Fern and Fernan. Special mention to Rooney who was outstanding for us. LVG gutted with the draw. Said they were in control for 90 minutes. Must have been watching a game from the 90s. Thought Twatenburg did a good job.

Otamendi - have to admit I was a bit worried when I saw his name on the team sheet instead of Mangala, but his best game in a Blue shirt by far.

Other votes to Fernandinho and Fernando - rags set up to stifle, and we matched them thanks in no small part to these two.

A game best quickly forgotten!

Kompany had an all action display, and I was pretty proud of our captain

Otamendi and Fernandinho were my other votes

I am not sure if VK and NO have played a competetive game together before but VK's leadership shines from his bottom and as usual he was up for this one, whether it was to prove to Pellers or his critics or just that is his natural game. Otamendi, oustanding, no shots on goal until the 82nd minute, a good all round team performance. My third vote went to Hart a point saver as Pellers whilst not going all out to win it, certainly didn't park the bus but Harty stepped up when needed.
