New boss, same story. Liverpool fail to impress once again, but it's okay since Klopp jumped around on the sidelines and gave a great presser afterwards. I feel he only took the job to get into England, and he will step away as soon as a bigger job opens up.

Hasn't set the world alight but that may be to his benefit long term, if he came in and hit the ground running then expectation goes through the roof and the pressure intensifies. As it is he hasn't had a bad start but there's plenty of room for improvement which I still expect to see despite the squad not being good enough for where they think they should be.

My two brothers are Liverpool fans so I watch their games quite a bit and for me the problem at Liverpool is their transfer policy, they seem obsessed with the moneyball effect, they seem to be buying based purely on stats. I put that policy down to their owners trying to implement what works in baseball. It'll be interesting to see how they approach transfers now with Klopp in charge.
