Nando. Thought Palace were better that 5-1 tbh. Could easily have been 6-4. Happy with Mangalas showing and Martin is showing his age. Defence was non existant at times. Willy made a couple of important saves.

If we play 4231, can we find a spot for Nacho at right mid? He looks like a player with a huge future. If we go 442 like tonight then he should play with big Wilf. My MOM was Nacho for his assist to Red Kev. Also thought the big man 42 had a good game with his passing on song most of the time. Now not much to stop us going all the way in this comp, maybe the Saints in the final?

Wasn't it good to see Nacho pick out Kev for the goal. An established player -kun, sterling bony would have tried to score. This lad got his head up and played a lovely pass. MP would be thrilled.

Going to go with Fernando, Nacho and Willy.

Fernando is rapidly turning into our silent assassin - nothing flashy, no bone crunching tackles, just a smooth dismantling of opposition attacks and a quick cycling of the ball to our attackers. He may not get the headlines of a Nigel DeJong, but now he appears to be injury free he looks a far better and more effective player than Nigel ever was, even if the fans probably prefer the blood and thunder style of DeJong over the understated Fernando.

Iheanacho had a great game - covered every blade of grass in his eagerness to make his mark, provided a deft assist and a lovely goal to boot. Needs some work, as he is far too easily dispossessed, but that will come with work. Definitely a bright future ahead of him.

Third vote goes to Willy - definitely his best game for us so far, he was brave, his decision making was spot on and he made at least one very good save. Palace never looked like they could win it, but with our defense looking a tad shakey at times, Willy definitely stopped palace making the scoreline look more respectable.

Honourable mentions to Navas, Bony and Yaya

I liked the fact that Kelechi, wasn't greedy and played the ball to the better placed player, loved both his assists and the goal was not easy but he deserved it.

Fernando excellent and I agree with FCB on this. For me the much maligned demichelis was panned by the critics but I wish we had got him sooner.
