Stunning Bias from The BBC

The Agenda continues. The drooling BBC overtures for the rags scoring a goal against CSKA are almost overwhelming in deference to begrudging praise towards City's outstanding football. The arslikhan for Rooney is nauseating. Twats the lot of them.

I know. :82:

Truly vomit inducing. They just have to be able to lace up their boots to get praised these days.

We turn over a team with an accomplished European pedigree, winners of a tough tournament two seasons running, previously undefeated at home in the CL.......

But I expect little else from the BBC these days

Their headline for the Champions League simply refers to Rugney heading the winner for the rags

First goal they have scored in over 400 minutes

I can't believe you're surprised at this, we have had it all our lives, it will be at least another decade before we will change this bias.

Not just the BBC folks.

P.S. It was 404 minutes since the Rags last scored - there has to be an internet joke in there somewhere

Was wondering about that - Will UEFA be taking action against the club for the disgraceful lack of respect shown by the rags in booing this substitution? :68:

As for the coverage - it really isn't a surprise but remains intensely disappointing that professionals allow their personal bias to affect their judgement. Power without responsibility.

Todays Telegraph

Good to see its not going unnoticed by the wider public. Some of the rolling text reporting is disgustingly biased and it seems to be getting worse. I'd bin it off only their sports app is probably the best out there in terms of being user friendly.

....and tonight BT Sport's addition to the pantheon of "Let's get as much on our channel as humanly possible that has ANY connection to Man U*d" is.......

FC United of Manchester vs Chesterfield.....

Being broadcast on BT Sport and of course BBC Radio 5Live.

Well why not? I mean it's not as if there aren't many other fixtures to pick from.

More great news from the Beeb. Cant wait for this one.

"Salford City's home match against Hartlepool United in the FA Cup second round will be broadcast live on BBC Two on Friday, 4 December.

The match will kick off at 19:55 GMT, with Dan Walker presenting.

Northern Premier League Premier Division side Salford, who are part-owned by five former Manchester United players, beat Notts County to reach the second round proper for the first time.

League Two Hartlepool defeated non-league Cheltenham in the first round.

"We are delighted to have the standout fixture of the second round live on BBC Two," said BBC football editor Mark Cole.

"There is clearly a real interest from the audience in Salford's progress and whether a team from the seventh tier can make it to the third round for the first time in their history."

From BD's post above....

"We are delighted to have the standout fixture of the second round live on BBC Two," said BBC football editor Mark Cole.

"There is clearly a real interest from the audience in Salford's progress and whether a team from the seventh tier can make it to the third round for the first time in their history."

Really? I'd love to see the information that this decision is based on....I mean have they had a lot of letters or emails demanding that this tie be chosen for televising? Show us the evidence Mark or is it just the evidence available in the editorial them making the decisions in....oh the Salford based BBC

Hypocrites. Nothing more than self interest in promoting the 'myth' that they have helped to create with their rather limited and biased documentary.
