NMB (New Manager Bounce) very much in evidence IMO - Villa players definitely more motivated under their new leader. Just our luck to be playing just after rather than just before :doh!!!:

We weren't as fast as normal, but we did get better once Navas came on, but that was Yaya's worst performance in a blue shirt, maybe the midfield was too crowded for him to create space. I cannot say well done Villa, they needed to win, but will be happy with a draw 13 shots on goal and only 3 on target. Villa had none on target out of their three shots determined not to lose, but City should have had a penalty, one of their players should have got the yellow for diving when the ref gave Nick Otto a card. Not a pretty game and hope that Bony not too bad on his groin. Pellers should have taken off Yaya for Nacho instead of gambling with no striker, he gave the lad no time to get into the game.

We may come to rue this result, but it's better than a couple of years ago when we battered them and lost. Good that Arse shared the points, so we remain on top of the pile still, which is good.
