Dead cat bounce, or new manager flounce?

Tell you what, even with a recently installed new manager, if we don't beat these by a cricket score we probably don't deserve to win the league.

Saying that, will settle for a 1-0 City victory, points is points!

However, I suspect a low scoring game might be a flight of fancy, given the parlous state of Villa's defending, their lack of decent strikers and our host of attacking talent. Fully expect Garde to have worked on Villa's defense this week, so a bit of bus-parking may come into play - Makes sense to concentrate on making your new team hard to beat before working on scoring goals, so we'll see if Villa's back four have stiffened up enough to hinder our attack.

Of course, City will have to contend with the "curse of the old boy", as Villa currently have the fondly regarded Micah Richards and Joleon Lescott on their books - alongside the less fondly remembered Scott Sinclair.

Fairly sure all 3 of these players will be looking to prove a point, and of course the crowd will be wound up at the mere thought of "Snake" Fabian Delph even being in the ground, so this is not a game we can afford to be complacent about!

More of the same resolve we showed against Sevilla will see us through handsomely - revert to the form we showed against Norwich and this could be unexpectedly tricky.

The questions:

Guess the attendance: (Villa Park holds a decent 42788)

Predict the time of the first goal:

Name the first goal scorer:

Predict the correct scoreline:

Bonus question: Aston Villa currently have 3 former City players on their books (as mentioned above)

I want to know - How many of these players will put in an appearance against us on Sunday - 1 minute on the pitch to run down the clock counts the same as starting, so pick a number between 0-3

3 bonus points for hitting the nail on the head, duck eggs if you get it wrong. Simples

Happy predicting!
