You just knew they would have to consider this move.

I am utterly convinced that Moaninho wanted to get cpsacked by Chelsea so that his path would be clear for the job he has always coveted.

Stand by for revisionist comments by hoards of rags who, like my brothers, claimed to detest the man when he was at Chelsea. All of a sudden they will forget they ever heldd those views, not have the moral fibre to admit they changed their mind, and declare that he is a brilliant manager.

It will be like living in Orwell's 1984. They are the masters of DoubleThink.

Yes, if it happens it means they have completely given up their plan to find a Fergie-clone. They are well and truly on the managerial roundabout, just like the rest of us. It will be the same for Arsenal when Wenger rides off into the sunset, which can't be long now.
