The BBC now have a man ure gossip section and then other gossip, sky are sick , headlines Ladyboy disappoints City and PSG he wants to retire at Madrid , just what has City to do with this article, well nothing, there is no reference in what Ladyboy says which may have a direct or an indirect connection with City.

I don't think it is off topic at all really Buzz - I had noticed that the BBC football page had evolved into basically a U*d and Moaninho gossip and rumour section

Just illustrates how much under his spell they remain. His failure at Chelsea will be swept under the carpet and airbrushed out of history. A blip. An aberration. The fact that he nearly got the league champions into the relegation zone.....ignored. He will be portrayed as a humble man, keen to respect the legacy of Slur Alex

I am waiting for the sly briefing against Guardiola to start, the questioning of his ability ("this is the Premier League don't you know, he'll find it tough..."), the constant references to the quality of player he had at Barca.....it will come I am sure and Moanihno's friends in the media will be stirring things to ramp up the tension

Well I think it has started already, Sky are all over maureen like a bad suit.

James Cooper suggested that Maureen always wanted to manage the rags and that this appointment tops winning the Champions league.

A league win is a formality and perhaps we should abandon next season and just had them the trophy now.

James Cooper is an absolute clown

I actually believe that Moaninho has wanted the rag job for ages. I am convinced that he engineered/accelerated his exit from Real Madrid by upsetting key players (e.g. dropping Casillas), the eye gouging incident etc so he would be available when Slur Alex retired. They gave the job to The Chosen One and so Moaninho was forced to go back to Chelsea......until he saw the writing on the wall for LVG and, desperate to make sure he won't constrained by a contract when the rag board finally gave LVG the bullet, he sabotaged Chelsea's season making sure he got the shove so as to be foot loose and fancy free when they came crawling to his door.....

Just my theory of course.....

The expected sunny day had NOT arrived I am not best pleased.

I just checked Sky, they are playing it cool this morning until the official announcement which will allow them to start again with BREAKING NEWS. I think they have heaped a load of pressure on Maureen to win the lot and anything less is not an option, I don't know what they would do if they finish below us again.

On the one hand it is maddening on the other just amusing.

They are in thrall to him.

Football has been so pleasant whilst his smug, self satisfied face has been absent from our screens

Are the Rgas about to buy the Title? Heaven protect the Pun dit or Hack who suggests such a thing.

Will the rags be labelled as moneybags if they go out and spend big?

What must be pissing them off this morning is the fact that they are only 2nd Favourites to win the Title.

MANCHESTER United have finally found a manager as entitled, self-important and prone to temper tantrums as the club itself.

Jose Mourinho was appointed manager today after United bosses realised their initial revulsion was only because they were seeing a reflection of themselves.

A club insider said: “Vain, egotistical, convinced the world is against them as they ignore every rule to suit themselves; it’s the perfect match.

“Mourinho’s arrogance hasn’t been remotely affected by him guiding his last club to one place above relegation, just as Manchester United still believe they’re the best club in England despite finishing fifth.

“Together they will dispute every decision, find undeserving scapegoats for every loss, and steal any talented player they choose, all the while complaining bitterly of unfairness.

“Also, they’ll probably win everything. That’s what makes them truly detestable.”

Well they seemed to lap it up as they fawned around his feet, looking up adoringly into his face with their puppy dog eyes, hooked on every golden word......

The BBC site on Sunday contained a minor article in Guardiola.....today's sport page looks different....

I am just reading the Maureen v Guardiola part of Guillem Balague's biography on Pep......

I am convinced that the roots of the emnity lie in Maureen being over looked for the Barca job when they gave it to Guardiola. Add this bitter resentment to his narcissistic tendencies and requirement to be the Alpha Male football coach and you have a toxic combination.

He has been keeping an awfully low profile so far but I am sure it won't be long before he starts his efforts to goad Guardiola and get under his skin. In his twisted mind he will be determined to get his retaliation in first.

He caught Guradiola as his time at Barca was likely to come to an end and capitalised on how draining his experience at Barcelona had been. I hope Pep is fresh and ready to take him on again.
