UEFA EURO 2020 hosts: London to hold final
11 July 2016 13:29 Post ID: #577730
I appreciate the 2016 Euro's have only just finished but....

London will host the final and semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2020, while Baku, Munich, Rome, Saint Petersburg, Copenhagen, Bucharest, Amsterdam, Dublin, Bilbao, Budapest, Brussels and Glasgow will also hold games.

This international competition is more like the Champions League - not too sure if i'm convinced this format will work.

This was one of Platini's 'Big Ideas' I believe.

I know teams have to transfer between venues within a host country but some of the potential distances between these venues seem a bit bonkers.

One of those half baked ideas that stem from that little inner circle of UEFA that served their own interests, dressed up as something to 'give the game back to the fans' or some such garbage .......but which would have been intended to maximise the cash benefits for some
