MOTD opening sequence
21 August 2016 07:20 Post ID: #579811
Am I the only one to find the way in which the opening sequence of Match of the Day pretty much ends with the focus squarely on Moaning Maurenn with his finger held aloft indicating 'number 1' totally vomit inducing?

There are only three urged in the sequence with Klopp and Bournemouth's Eddie Howe being the others. Leicester's success last season is acknowledged with the final images but the burning impression I gained is that whoever designed the thing has put Maureen and the rags front and centre with his image being so prominent.

I can't comment as I don't watch MOTD, unless we're on a UK holiday. Blimey, now I think about it, I haven't watched MOTD for yonks.

I think they do this to appease the fan bases of the bigger clubs, before we hit the jackpot, how many live games would City be involved in that did not include the Sky 4, now we are up there and our fan base is growing, but we have to win the biggy now.
