At last, someone else has had the gonads to come out and confirm what every City fan knew - FFP was all about protecting the interests of the historically 'big' clubs, of fossilising the football hierarchy. Effectively the Real Madrids, Bayerns and Stretfords pulling up the drawbridge from inside the safe haven of their existing 'castles' and preventing others from spoiling their party. It was all about protectionism.

I think that because City escaped the evil organisations trying to stop City becoming an Elite Club, they appear to have abandoned FFP or relaxed the rules, which proves that it was just set up to prevent us from breaking in
