I got a 'site down for essential maintenance' message yesterday, but was only offline for about 30 mins

Haha. By the time I'd made my post above and gone back up to City Chat, the server was down again

Vital HQ sent me an email around 6:30pm last night stating the Network would be down from 7pm while essential work was carried out on the servers. I believe the necessary work was completed and so we shouldn't experience any login problems for a while (fingers crossed).

Not a problem mate. I can count the number of times the server has been down in my 8 years here without having to use my toes

I meant the site, has not changed , when they say updated they actually mean nothing is being changed just updating other Club sites, as more change to the new look.

Upgrades on the server Buzz - way above my head but I suppose they needed servicing similar to all steam-powered engines

At my request Vital HQ has reduced the number of forum threads, per page to 20. IMO it looks more neat and tidy.

The VMC server clock has been re-set, as requested. You would think the server could keep better time than my Xmas chocolate watch
