Liverpool at home Buzz, Klavan on Aguero, Milner's disgraceful lunge into Sterling and then gave them a pen for Clichy on Firminio and then reported us for not controlling our players.

No previous then

Btw way BD, which push on Agüero by Klavan were you referring to? The one when Raheem 'the unfoulable' Sterling got taken out by Milner or the one prior to that when, early doors, Agüero was unceremoniously shoved in the back when going for a near post cross?

So many fouls. So little seen by the officials

Ha, fair question mate, the one when Sterling was taken out on the same cross. The push was difficult to spot so I've no real qualms with that but the WWE type chokehold has to have been seen by either ref or lino, utter incompetence otherwise as they're looking right at it, there again Andre Marriner.

How much time did they spend at the weekend about a penalty decision we did get in our favour compared to the instances where they were not given (Vs Spurs, vs Liverpool etc). For the sake of balance I think at least Danny Murphy on motd2 had the grace to concede that we have had the rough end of some decisions during the season. At least I think he did, I may have to watch that bit again.

Be interesting to know what difference VAR would have had in the league table.

that is a good point Skoorb about VAR, but although they will trial it in the FA Cup, they are not moving fast enough and are still dragging their feet, whilst other sports are years ahead in technology of the UK's no1 sport and the old fuddy duddies and other corrupt bodies are still way behind

thank you guys for reminding me and we got fined as well, a good day all round for the FA then.

if you miss one foul then that's unfortunate and it can happen to any referee but to miss two in the same action is unpardonable but in keeping with the conspiracy theory.

Tennis; cricket; rugby......all top, professional sports have all adopted technology and been using it to determine the correct outcome of decisions for several years. FIFA's response to a gross error in a World Cup match (Lampard's goal against Germany) was to introduce two blokes who, IMO, are instructed NOT to get involved unless specifically asked by the referee. Their feet dragging has been shameful and there's could be not greater example of the influence of vested interests in the game of football behind this resistance.

The Americans much younger in the game than us realise the usefulness of such technology.

I posted this link earlier in the Sadio Mané thread but really it should be here on Death Watch,

Perhaps the thread should have been 'paranoia are us!'
