Seeing that Puncheon will face no further action, we can't hope that he will do any damage to our rivals for the title....Palace's next three fixtures are Swansea, Southampton, and Hull.

As an aside, I've heard on the radio Drinkwater of Leicester has been charged with violent conduct following the weekend game at Watford.

I'm reluctant to comment on that lunatic last night for fear of being told I'm obsessing but even those that don't like the ref's performance being discussed must surely concede that chap is grossly incompetent?

You are not alone BD.

To say his performance was erratic would be the kindest description. After the second yellow for Stindl he seemed to lose the plot. Found a cheap and easy way to level up the sides and then failed to issue a second yellow to Rafael for a blatant handball and no yellow for the guy who sythed Sergio down from behind. Poor.

I assume that was for the two daft yellows.

another daft Lunatic of a ref makes a decision that only he knows why.

A clever way of saying he thinks the refs are shit without being charged for disrepute.

Video ref is currently being trialled at the club World Cup and last night a Japanese side were awarded a penalty after the ref viewed a replay of an incident. A step in the right direction.

That's great news. I was just thinking of Watford's left side being terrorised by Ras last night. The same players scythed him down 3 times, one particularly forceful and the ref did nothing but gave three free kicks.

That Prodl should have been sent as well.

Well spotted Blue, I saw the clip on our Aussie news and the correct decision was made, and the game was held up for a minimal period of time, which would be added on in any case. The sooner this technology is widely used the better, this will favour attacking teams at the expense of the sly shirt tuggers.

Well played Mr. Atkinson, there's always going to be one or two decisions you disagree with but overall today I thought he had a strong game, makes a refreshing change.
