Hope this works

Nope, sorry - still not visible although I have tracked it down.

I should add to my list Bobby Madley whose unwillingness to deal with Hull City's chronic persistent foul play contributed, I am convinced, to the circumstances leading to Amrabat's challenge on Gundogan which resulted in his ACL tear and so thus robbed Pep of a key component in his plans for the club during this season.

Ah yes, that does it. That was the one I saw.

I am almost on the verge of believing that there is a sort of institutional bias creeping in where this so-called 'super coach' is being shown a thing or two about good ol' English football. They don't like it up 'em these fancy foreign coaches. Coming over here with their big reputations and weird ideas about wanting to pass the ball around. We'll bring 'em down to earth with a bump. Think you can beat Stoke City away and get away with it eh? Destroying one of the founding features of the modern Premier League? Bloody cheek

City want a meeting set up between Pep Guardiola and referees' chief Mike Riley to help Pep understand English referees. [Sunday Mirror]

I wonder has the penny finally dropped with the media as to why Guardiola was so angry after Burnley.

Not so sure about that based on the discussion I witnessed on Sky's Sunday Supplement. On the whole some fair and decent points were made about Pep and I couldn't help but agree with them on the whole but certainly didn't get any impression that they understood his anger after the Burnley game.

I wish them luck but suspect that Pep would get little enlightenment from meeting Riley - probably be like talking to a wall unless Riley agreed to review some of the decisions City have suffered from e.g. the non-sending off of Luiz and Vokes's elbow/arm in the Burnley match

Outstanding. I mean, what possible reason might he have for not being fair and unbiased?

Referee performance information here btw

http://www.footcharts.co.uk/index.cfm?task=ref_table

There are a range of tables and charts available to look at and each can be sorted using the the column headers. You can look at referee performance by club using the 'Favourites' button. You can go back through the years to compare their performances.

http://www.footcharts.co.uk/index.cfm?task=ref_favs

I have attached the charts for the seasons 2011/12 onwards including the current season (Note - there was no data for the 2012/13 season)

I am still trying the get my head around the these which are created using this. I think it is showing which referee's tend to be 'card happy' - i.e. they tend to issue more cards compared to the number of fouls they blow up for.

This is the first time that Mike Jones will have officiated one of our games this season and from what i can glean he seems to prefer to keep his cards in his pocket..........does this explain why he comes top of the table when sorted by 'Fouls per game'. Not sure if this bodes well for a game against Palace....

He likes to keep his cards in his pocket except when Aguero gets fouled in the oppo box, the card came out quick enough to Aguero that time.

The other memory of Jones that springs to mind is our game against Liverpool on New Year's Day 2012, he let Charlie Adam kick lumps out of our players, a good 4 cynical fouls before he was booked, Barry then commits two fouls in quick succession, booked for both and an early bath.

I know, I'm paranoid.

Ah yes, I recall the Barry one. Hmmm. I am not comforted.

Changing referees.......I was seriously fed up with Marriner almost from the get go last Saturday when he failked to book either Dembele or Wanyama for deliberate handball inside the first five minutes when he fell over and just grabbed the ball as he landed. Deliberate handball = yellow card. Totally cynical and I don't care that the game was only a few minutes old

You are not paranoid just seriously fed up with the unbalanced decisions. We got called out for being paranoid about officials a few seasons back but this is the worst season for quite some time and I really do think we have gotten a rotten deal so far.

Fernandinho was red carded for pushing Fabregas over. Why wasn't Dele 'Golden Balls' Alli given a red card for shoving Otamendi to the ground last Saturday? Sterling gave away a penalty in our opening game of the season for pushing Shawcross.....why wasn't a penalty awarded against Wanyama for obstructing (grappling) with Sterling in the penalty area last weekend?.....I could go on.

He's now been removed from the game.

The decision to appoint Cann has been canned.

It remains bizarre that he was ever appointed given his background. Just plain odd. Surely there is a list somewhere with the PGMOL?

Not 100% sure but I do know City fans were tweeting the FA about it last night.
