Whatever anybody says we had 17 shots to their 6. They had 2 shots on target 2 goals.

Not taking chances and not good enough at the back.

But great heart from this.

Just a note and not to start WWIII. Sterling was a MILE offside before the push.

And Sane got away with a handball.

Marriner was equally useless.

Sane hand was across his chest when Hugo knocked it on to him, it was hand ball but ball to hand and not the other way round.

Was Kane onside?

We can't blame the players but we do demand better and fairer decisions and would advocate vtr replays

Best of luck for the season, I love it that the Sky 4 don't have it all their own way

Just replayed it, Aguero was offside, but Danny Rose was playing Sterling onside

Terrific performance by the sky blues - especially not letting collective head go down after the Spuds equaliser.

Awful decision by the officials re the push on Sterling - even if the Ref didn't see it the linesman should have had a clear side on view.

80 just checked again and Kane was offside for you equaliser, but we are used to getting shafted these days, so no hard feelings, you got away with a couple of important decisions(again)

Said previously that it is hard for Sterling to be awarded a penalty as he is perceived as a diver but now he can't get one when he doesn't go down???
Bloke cannot win!
Bloody terrible from the ref and the linesman.
Still not putting the goals in with all the shots at goal but a great improvement from the team.

Exactly what does Sterling have to do to be awarded a penalty? I'm confused. Seen plenty of comments from people (including ex-players) saying he should have gone down but ffs the guy cannot win. Is this a hangover from the sh*t he suffered last season started by the scouse fans and then picked up by every other morin in the country that chose to boo the lad for no good reason. Clattenburg last week; Marriner's and his linesman (the really culpable one this time)

Great to see some other fans on here

On the Sane goal - it hit his hand sure but my question would be had that been a defensive mix up with Loris and say Kyle Walker and the ball had struck Walker's hand would it have been a penalty? I don't think so. Sané s arm is tucked into his chest; the ball is headed into him at speed from a distance of less than a metre; he doesn't move his arm - not deliberate. (and had it been the defensive mix up - not a penalty either).

Hi 80, hope all's well with you, I've calmed down enough now to respond.

Rose is playing Sterling onside.

On the Sane handball, I get why you'd feel aggrieved however first up it was ball to hand, if his hand was away from his body then you'd have more of a case but more importantly it wasn't immediately obvious that it even hit his hand nevermind then an official then having to determine intent. It's a bit like Rose going through Sterling for the ball, on replay it's a definite penalty but you can forgive the ref/lino for not spotting it in real time.

The Walker push however was so blatantly obvious and that is where the anger and frustration lies, there's just no excusing the lino on this, it was an awful decision.
