I am sure Mickeytaking will agree to get out of Stretford asap and it seems that everyone is expecting City to implode because of this and not win another match all season (not true not everyone except Neville and Tyler and all rag fans)

....and the media are giving this theory air time.

Which is a good thing in my book, a healthy reminder that we have to maintain the high standards as nothing is won yet.

It does no harm to be reminded - this is one area where the experience of Silva, Kompany etc can play a major role.

Griezmann now that would be a coup especially as United want him

I am noting hitherto unseen levels of bitterness towards Sanchez - which surprises me since it appeared not many of us actually wanted him at the club - perhaps we should be relieved more than anything!

Giving Sanchez the benefit of the doubt - this will be his last major move and perhaps he is sacrificing personal goals and putting money first so that he can provide for his family long term - something all of us on this site would do. Just saying...

Has Sanchez actually signed? - (it's a day off and I've enjoyed a lie in and consequently am not up to speed on anything except coffee).

As Buzz suggests, putting a crafty bid in for Griezman might not be a bad idea.

Positive that City are refusing to be 'held to ransom' and are walking away from the table, something the media are acknowledging (although possibly not the Express/Mail shit end of the food chain).

Good times.

"hitherto unseen levels of bitterness". Really? Care to quote some examples, because I haven't seen any. One or two have bemoaned him to be a bit mercenary, but then aren't they all these days.

I thought he would be good for City, but the more i see of Sanchez, the more i dislike, in the short term he would give it everything as he will do at United, but then the rot sets in, the bickering over wages, I think if City really wanted him they would have gone and got him and matched whatever Arsenal wanted, but simply he came with too much excess baggage, ie his agent

It is unlikely we will sign anyone soon although it is rumoured that Shakhtar Donesk is close to signing a replacement for Fred, but he is a Defensive midfielder presumably for Yaya this Summer, but a buy now would prevent Maureen buying anyone we have our eyes on.

I was hoping that the rags would buy him back at three times the price they paid for him.
