Seen him play several times for NYCFC - busy midfielder with long flowing locks (well he did at the time). Decent enough but this would be a surprise if he is to fit into Pep’s plans

He is a playmaker and full American international. Expect him to go out on loan and if he fires we sell him at a tidy profit, similar to the Aaron Mooy deal I think, but he has to perform.

I expect him to do an Aaron Mooy and be sold on after a loan period, definitely not one for us.

Anyone fancy Ozil? rumours about Hazard, but would love him at City, he is 10 times better than the Orange at Stretford (juicy) however I feel he is going elsewhere on the Continent.

Ozil no thanks, he sulks one week, plays out of his skin the next and he is past his best in my view.

Reportedly said goodbye to his team mates at weekend, due in Manchester today.

Well I just hope he sorts his head out - it would be nice to hear some more encouraging noises (unless he is playing to the Bilboa faithful and trying to avoid death threats or similar for appearing too eager to leave)

I don't know what I've missed? but by all accounts he jumped at the opportunity to sign for City this time around.

Apart from I'm Eric coming, will there be any surprises? It seems that everyone we are interested in appears to be also on Maureen's wanted list, perhaps we should send him a fruit basket full of Seville oranges(google it), they should be sweet enough for the sour faced twat.

His manager was quoted at the end of last week saying Laporte had told him "I'm not going to City" - same time he said Laporte had been "restless and lost sleep". Probably BS and the manager trying to convince the fans that a transfer was a surprise to him.

All smoke and mirrors

Ah right, thanks for clarifying. Yep, think the manager was just playing silly beggars.

Tin Hats on as the media go to town on "Can't afford The Orange but can pay for Laporte!! Shock Horror" and "How much for ANOTHER defender"? (conveniently ignoring that the holders of the "We Beat Manchester City Cup 2017/18" forked out more than this for Super Virgil.)

City/Pep never actually said they could not afford the Orange, they withdrew from negotiations because of the greedy Orange twat and his Satsumas' demands , but as you say Skoorb the media will twist this one to suit their purpose.

What City/Pep said, we cannot afford 22 top players, because their wage demands would be too great, a big difference from what ratboy is saying and the fact that he was potentially bringing more baggage than a young Zsa Zsa Gabor (google it, not saying that I would not if asked when i was younger)

Pep was also making a point about the fact that he doesn’t have all his players available through injury especially when they receive no protection from the referee not doing his job. Mason had a chance quite early on to set his stall out - he failed to book Ralls for his lunge on Gundogan and also should have carded Morrison for his blatant obstruction on Danilo. The failure to deal with this sh*t early on sets the tone.

Sadly no need to look up Zsa Zsa
