The usual rules apply even outside the silly season.....

Just make it up. Ask a daft question and you can report "Guardiola denies rumour" despite the fact that the rumour was generated by a journo asking the flipping question.

They do my head in.

Looking forward to the talking heads on Sunday Supplement explain away Liverpool's thrashing (5-0 is officially a thrashing despite being down to ten men. I notice no one mentions City beingreduced to ten men against Everton and not conceding goals left right and centre)

This is why the mainstream media is going the way of the dinosaur. Too many pundits with an agenda, and less and less "reporters" that try to deal in facts only. Everything is becoming tabloid journalism, and it's near impossible to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Yep! what does it matter if Pep says no chance when the media want to stir it. If it was true then I think we would now be watching Sanchez

If PG wants Sanchez enough then I imagine he would trade Sterling.

PG has said no' - Wenger said 'no' but then he/the board changed his/their mind.

Let's get Sanchez next Summer for nothing?

He has to consider the fact that Sterling is association grown for quota rules, I can't see him going anywhere, for now, even if Pep did want to do it.

Trevor Sinclair on Sterling

"When I read the story, I said: ‘No way!’ I thought it was the wrong move from City when you look at his age and his ability.

When I spoke to a few people I know at the club they said it was Arsenal doing all the running. It seems they asked for him and City were adamant he was not going and quite right too."

Manchester City have struck a deal to sign USA under-20 captain Erik Palmer-Brown when his Sporting Kansas City deal expires at the end of the year.

I found this poorly written "gem" on the web this morning from the Sunday Express.
Bollox is alive and kicking.

I would not be surprised if the rags tried to sign Alexis, but we need him more than they do.

Well David's contract is till 2019, but he is still worth the money and if it has legs and everyone has their price and if the price is right, but i cannot see him going to anywhere other than Spain if he leaves us.

Mangala on the other hand can't buy a game, even Danny Lo and Delph gets the nod, the problem their is perhaps not the asking price but the wages. I think he was spot on turning down palace.
