Sterling. Scored, assist, defended. Top drawer.

Mentions for Caballero for his penalty save and the save with his foot from Falcao after blotting his copy book with the poor pass in the first half and also for Stones who cancelled out his early weak challenge on Falcao by being menatally strong to get on th score sheet.

Willy for his two priceless saves, Sterling for his immense workrate and Kun not just for his 2 goals but his defensive work in the last 10 minutes before going off. Stupendous.

Get that up you at Ragville!

Can't choose between Aguero, Sterling, Sané and Silva so I'm abstaining, brilliant displays from all four.

What a game!
Cabal and Stones, sinners to saints and the forwards were magic.
Same is exceeding my expectations of him and Kun showing plenty of hunger along with Sterling.
Given it to Sane, Kun and Willie.
Otamendi ??? Becoming a worry.

Willy himself took the blame for the first goal, but he more than made up for it, David Silva magnificent back to his best linking play, deadly through balls, he was all over the place, but has mostly gone unnoticed last night a Captains innings. Sergio, did you see the determination of Kun, if Sané had not scored the fifth, he was right behind, defended and once he got his goal (pundits blame the keeper) but unlucky not to get a penalty and not for the first time has been booked for what Referees perceive as a dive and then the superb volley to get City's third. Their were other contenders, Sterling, who I think is better on the right than the left and Sané, we forget he was £37m and now know why. Otamendi much maligned for some reason but you want a hard man and gets no praise just a comment that he is a liability shame really

Cabalero, Sterling and Aguero for me.

Otamendi - would you build our defence around him? Makes some good interceptions but has too many mistakes in him and certainly not a 'hard' man. Not as maligned as Kolarov mind...

Overall a terrific performance, Chris Waddle calling it the game of the season so far.

Can't fathom the votes for Willy. It's as if Bravo's critics are at pains to point out every simple little thing he does and shower him in praise for it.

Good on him saving that pen but let's be honest, the penalty was atrocious, nice save with his foot later too but again an awful shot that Falcao should've buried.

Raz, Leroy and Kun, with honourable mentions for Merlin and Kev.
If only Kun played like that every game

We know that goals win games, but saves also win games, his first half performance was poor and his distribution on a par with JH1, but his second half performance when he put his foot through it and especially the penalty save, whether it was good or bad, Falcao tried to make WC commit himself and he didn't and that caused the taker problems and which a converted penalty would have certainly been curtains for City, but men of the match change games and that save was a game changer imo

all Kun needed was a hug, as has been reported since the day he signed not a peep or a moan and the latest was not at Kun's instigation, but the rags papers stirring it to unsettle the player, which it did, but I think he is back and focused

It was a game changer but my argument is that it was more owing to a shit penalty than a great save. Willy's last save in the penalty shootout against Liverpool was a great save because it was a well hit penalty, that's the difference imo.

Lol we can only save what they deliver, my thing was that Willy stood firm and didn't commit himself that's why it was a shit penalty.

I wish I had been there BD, we could have said hello, I do understand it and the commentary was focused on WC's mistakes, while not a word on the others errors apart from the obvious.

Haha. Rather than a hug, the cynic in me thinks it was a good kick up the arse he needed
It was his chasing and harrying that impressed me, topped off with the uncharacteristic unselfish pass to Leroy for the 5th. This unfortunately is not a Kun that we've seen very often even when he's been on form. Fabulous to see, and we can only hope for more of it. Another benefit of Godslad's arrival?
