As Chelsea take the lead I thought I would get this out of the way, will we come back and who was deserving of your Man of the Match for City

After 20 minutes I"m going to give it to Aguero for his brace plus honourable mentions to Kipling (h/t sub) and F25 for relentlessly pushing us forwards towards victory.

Oh well, didn't quite pan out like that although I got excited when Sergio equalised pedro's opener for the Pensioners.

Good to see VK4 back in purple and orange.

I thought Mike Dean played well for Chelsea

Yes he had a suburb game for the homers, but I voted for Vinnie, just for lasting an entire game.
So that's 6 pts gone vs a team that we outplayed in both games.

I think most managers getting their club captain back would play them if fit. However we are talking about Pep tinkerman supreme and once the lactic acid readings are taken it will be all change once again I fear.

Yes. They all get monitored very closely and I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Otamendi returned to the starting line up against Hull City Tigers

Vinnie proved that he could do 90 minutes against the this seasons top team and that without being match fit. Both goals had an element of luck about them as Willy saves another penalty and was wrong footed for the first when VK got a head to it when WC had it covered.

The commentators were very harsh on WC for both goals - There was a slight deflection for the first but it was travelling at some pace and any deviation would be difficult to react to & the penalty - well diving full length I am sure his aim was to push the ball away from goal but it's hardly a precise science and all down to fractions of seconds and where the ball strikes the arm. Seemed to me that it caught him on the inside of his wrist which sent the ball straight back. Another saved penalty but very unfortunate with where the ball rebounded

It's par for the course Skoorb, British/Irish football media and fans are very harsh on goalkeepers in general. That one last night was quite similar to the one Bravo was slated for against Huddersfield when the deflection of Zaba's boot saw a fairly routine save turn into a difficult save.

I watched the whole game last night and for the life of me, i've been scratching my head pretty much ever since and I can't think of anyone who really stood out. Therefore I am unable to commit to my MOTM
