Some observations after watching extended highlights.....all prefaced with "It was only a 'friendly' but...."

We looked slick and sharp in our passing
Walker seemed to supply a decent number of fast overlaps and crosses
If there were a prize for hitting the woodwork then surely we would win it.
Danilo looks like he fancies a shot
G Jesus looked very sharp & KDB was excellent
Ederson - I wonder if the media will make much fuss of the fact that he made some excellent saves?
Nasri does possess some talent - why does he hide it and make life difficult?
Diaz - two goals in two games on a big stage. Took his goal very coolly - sat Vorm back down nicely before slotting home. Future looks bright.
Dier would indeed fit in perfectly at The Swamp - his face off after blocking KDB and the (missed by the officials) tug on Jesus when the free kick came in for Stones's goal. Perfect match for Maureen.

Oh and I forgot - great to see David Silva involved.......was it just me or did anyone else for a moment think Stephen Ireland was back in Sky Blue (from his looks, not the standard of his play)?

Watched the 10 minute highlights vid and I have to say I was very impressed with Ederson. He looks bloody awesome.

He was very impressive T. Sharp, full of confidence and a real presence. Muric pulled off a couple of nice stops too when he came on.

Agreed on both counts BD. I presume Bravo will be handy as a half decent number 2?

He has his work cut out for him, hopefully the competition for places will coax his best back out of him again and keeps Ederson on his toes.

He did look good. Nice to see his long kick being used to find Sergio in the second half making use of the "can't be offside from a goal kick" plan......interesting to see if that tactic is used in the PL

Cheers mate. Great watch. Early doors, and I know it's only a 'friendly', but we're showing so much promise all over the pitch

Back from Nashville and my birthday weekend. That was one of the most enjoyable sporting weekends I've ever had. Absolutely superb. We are loaded across the board. The only thing stopping us from big things is ourselves. Once the defense gets their communication problems cleared up, we will be solid across the board. It was just surreal seeing my beloved Blues literally in my backyard. Don't know if it showed on tele, but we had good support. I'd say 85% of our supporters are less than 30 y.o. I'll put that down to most of them having played the sport growing up and finding a club to support. We were able to see several of the players up close and personal at the training session, and I was able to shake hands with the Captain and John Stones. Absolutely mint!

that is a good point about the younger generation growing up in the City era, I am glad you saw City in the flesh because doing that it makes that bond even better.

I understand Pep wants to return next year, while the board want to go to China, I agree with Pep, only because the Rags will go to China and I hate derbies friendlies or not.

It sucks, but this was the first live match I've seen in nearly two years, but we're hoping to catch at least 2 at Christmas time. You can understand Pep's point of view. The facilities in China are just not world class.

56,232 Announced as the official attendance. A record for a football match in the state of Tennessee. Other articles have mentioned people traveling from as far away as New York and California to attend. Those same articles confirmed what I already suspected...More City supporters than for Spuds. That might not seem that important at face, but the sports media seems to try and push "Tot-eng-Ham" on the public due to their relationship with the NFL. It's nice to see that isn't working.
