£75m for Lukaku.......? Where would this put Aguero's price then?

There appears to be no end to the madness

This looks like it's limping over the line but may cost the rags more than they paid for Carlton mkII.

Quite so. No sign of "Man U*d ruining football with stupid fees for players" headlines are there?

Chelsea's effort to re-acquire their former player for utterly bonkers money looks like it won't succeed.......in other news Mr Lukaku appears to be bin a spot of bother with the police in LA

Just iamgine the fuss that would have been made had this been Mario Balotelli?

1. I struggle to wonder just how much more of a fuss the media would have made of his arrest in the US had it been Mario Balotelli. Remember the Palace over the fireworks in th bathroom athis house the day before the 1-6 thrashing?

2. Where does this cross the line and become'tapping up'?

Romelu Lukaku: Man Utd newcomer says Paul Pogba played a 'big role' in his move

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40563181

3. When it suits the media they include or exclude the 'add ons' to either inflate the transfer figure or reduce it. Had City purchased Lukaku onthe same basis they would be quoting the total figure plus his wages over the length of the contract - £90m+ - but for the rags they decline to do so and make no fuss that for the second season running the rags have been the driving force in raising the bar of mad transfer fees

4. I am sick to death of rags bleating on about how as the 'richest, smuggest club in the world' they can pay wtf they want for players, "it's what big clubs do" (but City are ruining football by trying to 'buy the title' )

And the answer is "Yes"

I too am tired of the fact that the top four articles on the BBC football pages are a total rag-fest. Is anyone- anyone at all - questioning whether Romeu Lukaku is worth £75m (£90m)?

Anyone?
