Sky are calling it pink. It's not. It's magenta or crimson. I like it.

Hmmm. Still adjusting. Probably grow on me.

I am not quite sure exactly how it "offers a nod to City's league title-winning side of 1967/68" away kit back then was a simple red and black striped affair (still my all time favourite ).

I wonder why messrs Bell, Summerbee and Lee let alone Mick Doyle or Tony Coleman would have made of 'engineered knit zones' and coloured strip down their shorts which "(expand) when in motion to maximise ventilation."?

Sure where would you be going without your old engineered knit zones?

As for the ventilation in the shorts, I'm sure the kitman at the time would've appreciated that, because when they let rip after the few pints they had the night before the stench could escape instead of being trapped in the fabric.

I like the shirt, not going to argue on the colour as I'm colour blind.

You can never have enough ventilation in your maximised expansion strip

My thread has gone in a direction I did not foresee.

To bring it back to a more *ahem* tasteful perspective, I'd still call it maroon, but a lighter shade than the last time we used it in 2012/13?
