It's better than seeing Shrek's shinner over and over.

Well, would you believe it Jeff?

That goal has been included in this BBC poll, but they have omitted Sergio's winning goal against QPR. One could argue that it wasn't technically brilliant but in terms of being one of the 'great' goals of this era......surely it ought to have been included taking account of the circumstances?

Adebayor's is a sweet finish but got lucky that his poor touch sat up the way it did.

Fatboy Shrek's was good technique, especially for a fat **nt but got lucky with the shinned finish

Cisse's a sweet strike but a hit and hoper, luckily for him it was hit, that time.

For me it's between Figueroa and Johnson. I went for Johnson as that technique was ridiculous.

Watch: How Sky Sports Made The Premier League

I’ve been a Sky Sports subscriber for as long as the company has been around, err come to think of it, 25 years. OMG, I would hate to think how much I’ve paid into Rupert Murdoch’s coffers.

I’ve also subscribed to the long defunct Setanta Sports and now, BT Sport. But, without these sort of subscription channels I would have been left up stream and without a paddle.

The bad news is that Shrek won his category but the good news is that overall the best goal in the 25 years of the PL went to Bergkamp which is fair as it was outstanding

The Goons are good at winning online polls.

I know the goal you're referring to, I unintentionally scored one like it playing five-a-side many moons ago. To be fair it was an exquisite piece of skill from Arsenal’s BA Baracus.

Di Canio's volley was in the same category as that Bergkamp one, and that's the one that got my vote because there's little in it in terms of quality between the two, and I knew Bergkamp would be getting the Gooner's vote.

Has anyone else noticed that since the rags kicked up an almighty stink about the Aguero-at-the-end version of the Sky ad, they're now only airing the other one, which ends at the Emirates? Typical that they've bowed to rag pressure, but nice to know that it gets under rag skin so much.

Really?

I knew it would crawl right under the skins of all the rags but had't thought it had been pulled by the powers that be at Sky.

I was about to say that i had seen the one finishing at the Etihad and THAT moment only the other day.......but then realised it was during a movie I recorded ages ago. I normally skip the adds but stop and watch this one ;-)

I watch a lot of skysports tv and this ad is still aired constantly, but only the Emirates -ending one. Too much of a coincidence. Let me know I'm wrong if anyone sees "our" one again.

I will keep my eyes open - might be interesting to see if they air one of these this evening.....and if so which one.

Might also be worth emailing Sky to ask WTF is going on if they are now favouring the Emirates version alone.

Only in the interests of fairness you understand
