To be honest B.E, West Ham tried to spoil the match by their tactics and maybe that is why the crowd was very quiet, it would have been better with end to end stuff.

Pep got away with it by not actually playing with two recognised full backs at the same time, and look as if the three at the back is his way to go this season.

Pep will have been very pleased with what he will have seen - right from the get go seeing Sergio winning the ball back on the edge of his own penalty area will have warmed his heart; great closing down all over the park; excellent movement and a desire to play penetrating passes through the opposition midfield.


I totally agree, we were hunting in packs causing bad passes or simply pick pocketing the man in possession

I suspect we will see that a lot this campaign. Not many will want to get into an open match with us.
