You would think so Rising & you can bet it would have been described that way had we drawn that game. But this is spun as the rags being top of the League don’t you know because they got a point.

After the game finished there was zero mention of any points being dropped.

Fitting that Scum were in a gray kit with a Chevrolet sponsorship across their chest. They looked like a beat up old Chevy in gray primer.

This game was live on free to air SBS TV in Australia, being the early KO. Forced myself to watch the first half. What a pragmatist moaning Maureen is, he came for a point and played a back 5 for most of the half, boring, boring, boring. If they win the title it will be a tradgety for real football.

LOL

Good to see the Borefest was the last match shown on MotD.

Anyone catch Maureen bemoaning the lack of quality on the rag bench? Together with his explanation of the result which was because he was ‘waiting for them to make an offensive change’.

So basically he is complying that he wasn’t able to try and win the game because the other manager wouldn’t let him. FFS.

In 180 minutes at Anfield in the past two seasons the rags have managed 2 shots on target.

Hope they do, then it all unravels for them and they end up paying him silly money to buy him out of his contract.

How often has he left a Club on good terms? That is by amicable mutable agreement rather than being sacked (or engineering his own departure through his behaviour/performance).

I suppose since the rags are averaging three trophies a season under Mourinho's stewardship that extending his contract makes sense.

As Skoorb says it was good to see them as last game on MotD - obviously it would have been better if they'd been first or second since that would go towards emphasising the establishments love in with all things red, apart from the Labour Party of course.

And did anyone notice JH1 had an assist yesterday! - might have been route one but it worked.

Pep take note.
