Just seen why we should avoid JFE like the plague. Gifted the dippers their opening goal.
In fairness to WBA they went straight up the other end and equalised.
1:1.

VAR involved with WBA's latest goal. WBA scored a third but it has been ruled offside (in London).
Score stays at 1:2 to WBA

High drama. Now VAR involved in a pen decision in WBA's area. Appalling Pawson going to the video.
....... Pen given against WBA.

Dammit. I go and attend to something in the kitchen and come back to find it's half time and dippers 1 WBA 3.

Lots of controversy, but complaints that it takes the fun away, but my point is it gets the right result

I agree totally. The complaints tonight centre on how long it takes. That's true, but as Chris Foy points out, as the officials get used to using it, it will quicken up considerably.

Liverpool have been believing their own hype because they beat us, but not every team is going to give away two goals like we did.

Dippers dumped out of the FA Cup WBA of all people.

Two losses in a row.

Having secured the “We Beat Manchester City Cup” for the trophy cabinet it seems the dippers feel their season is done and they are already on the beach. It takes more than beating one team or scoring a goal on your debut in the derby boys.

They will have to continue living in the glorious past.

Similar thing happened last season, they beat City and then fail to win any of their next 5 league games, 3 draws and 2 defeats, those defeats coming against Swansea (deja vu) and Hull.

Lesson hasn't been learned it seems.
