What was the penalty awarded for? Another Vardy ‘Aerial Special’?

Just seen it on MotD - Not one of his ‘aerial specails’ where he dangles a trailing leg and then launches himself into the air for a double-pike with twist - he was clattered by Mignolet and it was a pen.

He had already deployed the acrobatic technique in the first half half when chasing yet another long pass, he was being eased away from the path and then hung a trailing leg to ensure it caught the defender. Some might call this clever, I call it cheap and limited.

Brighton up 1 nil on the Toon Army. Geordies look a solid squad under the Spanish waiter.

And on comes Jonjo Shelvey, is that bald headed bastward still around? At the 70th minute, he might not have time to get his usual red card. Shame that.

FT Brighton and Hove Albion 1 - 0 Newcastle.

That will burst their baloon a bit, an away win would have put them 4th

One's day is always that little bit more special when Newcastle have lost, no idea why, might be because of Ashley, could be because we didn't beat them by more back in the '76 League Cup Final, might be because I'm slightly jealous of their black and white striped shirts - who knows, but they lost and that is a good thing.

Stonewall pen for WBA not given by the appalling Madley who had a perfect view. Homer.

As Arse are taking control, Penis's side resort to their usual thuggery.

Right at the end of the half there's a scramble on the Arse goalline but it stays out.
HT: Arse 1 WBA 0

A more even game than expected.

WBA with a big push at half, but no joy, I'm conflicted as I hate the Arse, but hate thuggery more.
