Good to see Chelsea saving themselves for the rags this weekend. Don't want them running out of puff around the half way line.

Celtic out, lost at home 1-2 to Munich, not a very good game to watch, but live in Australia on SBS.
You appreciate just how good we are playing when you watch a game like this.

You misunderstand me, Buzz. There was never any danger of them going out at this stage or any other. Going into the game last night they had 9 points. My frustration is with Benfica not at least making a game of it and pushing them harder ahead of the weekend's league game against Chelsea.

Sad thing is Rising, that Chelsea looked jaded and not up for the Roma game, where Edin Dzeko, is still looking really dangerous, but the difference is that Roma play to his strengths and he revels in playing frequently without fear of having to impress each game which was another reason he failed to get a regular place here.

As for Stretford, their good fortune is to play poorly and still win games and that in itself is a worrying fact, but we have to have belief that City can play beautiful football and the only way to stop us is either ourselves or the opposition kicking us to death whilst the refs turn a blind eye

The weekend?

Chelsea play the rags, Skoorb. I wanted them (Chelsea) fit, firing and in good form.

Good thought

Not so cosy for Antonio Wonder Manager Conte now is it? Chelsea’s much better lauded title winning season is being cast in a somewhat different light now that he hasn’t got the luxury of zero travel for midweek European fixtures and a solid week to rest players or have them on the training ground dedicated solely to the weekend game.

It’s tough at the top.

Laughingly I heard his post patch press conference comments where he said he doesn’t speak about bad luck.........only to immediately bang on about how unlucky Chelsea were

Good job by Wenger, he rested most of his top players and the draw was enough for them to qualify, so we look forward to Sunday. Watched the first half, but got bored.

I have one eye on the Stoke v Lecester game which kicked off at 12:30. Awful football.
The only entertainment being when ref Madley pulled up with a calf problem and having to be subbed by fat Jon Moss. Amusing.
