Yes, that's where I was alerted to it. Already one outlet has labelled it as 'Man City star trolls Lewis Dunk after own goal for Brighton' which is taking it a bit far tbh but as we all know the media are never shy when it comes to making mountains out of molehills

Just watched the game, a tough well organised Brighton made it hard for us, but we were never in any danger and we fully deserved the three points, a good start for us.

After all my predictions about Jake Humphrey on BT Sport being likely to go large on the cost of City's transfer expenditure compared to that of Brighton (fair play Jake, you left it alone ) leave it up to Jonathon Pearce on the good ol' BBC to open their coverage of the match with a reference to how "City's summer signings cost more than the Brighton squad AND [his emphasis] this stadium".

Really enjoyed watching the boys - not a perfect performance by any means nevertheless (still ring-rusty) we won against an impressive Brighton team. Danilo didn't exactly stand-out but i'll forgive him, bearing in mind it was his first PL game.

The rags are about to play a first eleven that has cost 400 M quid, will we hear about this from Sky?????????????????

I doubt it.

They have 'invested in quality players to challenge for the title' whilst City have 'overspent and distorted the market in an attempt to buy the title'

Sport section of the Sunday times is this morning waxing lyrical about the quality of some of our play.

No idea what the red tops/Mail/Express have written, don't read them.

And if Sky do acknowledge/mention it will it be written about on this site?

I'm all for a siege mentality, after all it's what S** A*** F******* used so effectively at the swamp...

Mendy has tweeted 'Bullet header" in response to Dunk's OG

I expect this to get turned into a massive issue by the media once they get hold of it.

Unnecessary really and once again underlines why I detest Twatter :013:

Not sure Twitter is the problem as much as the rubbish some people/idiots write on it. After all, without it we wouldn't be aware of the POTUS's musings. Bit immature of Blue Mendy but I'm sure he'll grow out of it - put it down to youthful exuberance at seeing his team mates secure their first three points of the season.

Game watched in retro mode after unavoidable commitments.

Job done and precisely what we are going to need against parked buses all season.
