Kyle Walker shone like a bright light and IMO was clearly MotM. He had plenty of energy and was quite happy to run up the wing and attack Brighton's back-line, without forgetting his defensive duties. He also seemed to blend into the team as if he had been at City for years.

Danilo on the other hand, at times found the occasion slightly overwhelming and struggled with the pace of the game. Give him a few more games thought and he'll be fine.

I have to agree with Tudor, did his job well and put in a few good crosses, can only get better when he understands his team mates runs. Red Kev also played OK, but not as good as KW.

Pity he wont use his left foot. When he did get forward, he wanted to check back and deliver with his right foot.

How is it that modern players with coaching from 5 years old and signed up by clubs as teens can't use both pegs. I was never a pro, but I forced myself to use both.

Walker was outstanding and has clearly settled in well. Shout outs also for Silva D whose tireless probing and passing was as good as ever. Superb one touch pass for Aguero's goal - sublime pace on the ball and for KDB who showed why he was such a great acquisition last season.

Pretty much agree with Skoorb on this one - thought Walker edged it with his energy and enterprising forward runs - not much for him to do defensively but then again defending is often done from the front.

Walker for me, and the great thing, he still has loads of room to improve. When he starts to read his teamates better around the box, he is going to be a nightmare.
