They changed there system, but even in the second half we just did enough to maintain that superiority.

I see Sky and the Beeb, put the win on the back burner, Sky in particular leading with the headlines Tottingham's win and Liverpool game, then Giroud, who reportedly could have left Arsenal in the Summer, We then got a mention in the main melee of the news.

The beeb tucked us away down the page.

We are only news when we lose

I noticed that.
Also no mention anywhere that we were the only team playing away and therefore even more impressive.

It had gone from this is a tough game against the Dutch champions to it's only Feyenoord.

At least one of their players should have gone for an early bath, as it turned out Feyenoord put in some very ott tackles

Part of the reason we slowed play down so much in the second half I reckon Buzz, didn't want to pick up any injuries.

Probably why we saw Delph come on instead of Gundogan too.

An interesting take from the Independent as to why we won the game.

Good find, JK. That a real look into the mind of Pep. Everything is done when a larger purpose in mind, well beyond the game at hand.

Don't know when you watched this, but when I tuned in to Sky Sports news this morning they had interviews with Barnsley Beckenbaur, Super Kev and the Pepster. The box along the bottom was also proclaiming our 'emphatic' win

Immediately after the match,

Sky usually have Mike Wedderburn who is a big blue may have had a word regarding what was to go out.

Immediately after the match,

Ah that explains it then. It would take at least a couple of hours for the Sky pigeon to fly back from abroad

I see that the hyping up of Harry Kane has started nice and early

"Harry Kane: Is Tottenham striker a potential Ballon d'Or winner?"

I like 'Arry, but as a top class striker he is a work in progress. Ballon d'Or winner, very unlikely.
