BBC Radio 5 live commentator

City's unbeaten starts continues, it's nine goals without reply in two games. Bernardo Silva came in tonight and City could have scored more. It was one-way traffic from start to finish.

John Stones:

"Kevin de Bruyne pus it on a plate for you. You could see his quality against Liverpool. I'm happy to help and it's a great start to our Champions League campaign.

"I'm trying to work as hard as I can to improve and listen to the manager's advice. Training with payers like Kevin will make you better."

Delighted for Stonesy.

Aguero and Jesus have now started together seven times, they have 6 goals each in them games and 5 assists between them.

It's hard not to get carried away.

We were superb tonight.

Love Ederson already.

The double Silva looks great.

It's great having pacy fullbacks with quality to boot.

DeBruyne was phenomenal, is that the first time he's worn the captain's armband?

Roll on the weekend.

First half was fun, the second a glorified training session. At least we don't have a long flight home to recover from.

Blimey - enjoy! There's no way I could get away with that! It is great watching a win when you know the outcome but one of the best things from last night was being able to relax during the first half! Normally I am on tenterhooks for the whole fecking 90+ minutes!

So pleased for John Stones - he has had to endure some massive doubters in the media. Those turncoats who praised his quality to the heavens at Everton were quick to stick th knife in after his transfer

DeBruyne - he purrs like a Rolls Royce engine. So much for Maureen's judgement

Bernardo Silva - having one Sublime Silva is great, but two? Sometimes it's like he makes time stop.

Ederson - Inthink we may have found The One

The only sour note was the disjointed nature of our play after all the substitutions. I know that Feyenoord upped their game in the second half but there were times when some players started dwelling on the ball a bit longer than strictly necessary (Sterling was especially guilty at times) and we lost possession. Trying to impress no doubt given the limited game time but counter-productive collectively and personally.

They changed there system, but even in the second half we just did enough to maintain that superiority.

I see Sky and the Beeb, put the win on the back burner, Sky in particular leading with the headlines Tottingham's win and Liverpool game, then Giroud, who reportedly could have left Arsenal in the Summer, We then got a mention in the main melee of the news.

The beeb tucked us away down the page.

We are only news when we lose
