Of course he did How silly of me to think otherwise.

I really wonder if they ever review their decisions and think "Ooooh, I really **cked that one up good and proper".

This is something I've always wondered, we hear of players having to sit through footage of games to see where they went wrong or right as the case may be. Never heard of the same thing for referees.

Tony Pulis....

"I don`t think we've got anything to lose - City are on fire at the moment. Everybody expects them to be close to winning the league this year so it`ll be a tough game. We'll put out a strong team, have a go at it and give it the best we've got.

"We really want to do well in the two cup competitions this year. We've got a home tie, irrespective of who it's against. It's up to us to take the game to them. It'll be a great game for the supporters."

Sounds like he feels his side have nothing to lose and he may tell them to for for it which might make things a bit more open.

Then again he may just be playing mind games......

Baggies on the front foot will get murdered, 10 behind the ball at all times is the only way Tony P can have a chance.

This is my 17 for this one.

Bravo, Danilo, Kompany, Mangala, Mendy, Delph, Gundogan, B Silva, Sane, Sterling, G Jesus

Adarabioyo, Stones, Foden, Fernie, B Diaz, Aguero

Out of the seniors on the bench, I have a feeling only Fernie will be used.

Looks like he may use Delph as a left back, or back to try using Leroy as a wing back, but a back four looks more likely

The competition is clearly low on his priority list as everybody in the media will know. After all they have been banging on since before the seasonstarted about the need to win either thePL or the CL. Thus he is on a hiding to nothing......

Plays Agüero, Silva & De Bruyne & they pick up some injuries and the headlines are “Foolish gamble from the City coach to risk his top players - he should have kept them for the league and champions league games”

Decent quality but as we all know the cohesiveness is likely to be absent but that’s why you have a squad
