I can't even muster any outrage. After watching Silva being chopped at like a tree in the forest for so many years, it's obvious if you're not in the right club and English, you are afforded no protection. I'm just glad Gundo is alright. Let's just be careful on how we use him till he can gain full fitness. Hopefully, this might give him some confidence in the knee. If you can survive Penis's Frankenstein monsters, you've done well.

I still feel we should choose very carefully which game he comes back in to. Please not a clogger side.

I am not surprised at the tackle when you remember to be in a Pulis team you must have had at least three convictions for GBH...

For what it's worth Physioroom.com has Gundogan down as 'Late Fitness Test' & a return date of today (23.9.17) so fingers and toes crossed for the guy

Good to hear that Skoorb, terrible tackle but only ever expected when you play against his teams.

The comparison with Palace was stark - none of their players put in anything like the sort of challenges that Pulis’s side deliver.

That is true Skoob, even the Mendy injury was in a way self inflicted.

The idea that the sort of challenges that injured Gundogan are “all part of the game” is pure BS IMO - Yacob’s foul was vindictive and petty and from a mindset that is derived from the Manager.

It is no coincidence that his Stoke team were also renowned for their over-physical approach. WBA are just the latest manifestation of Pulis’s thuggish approach to the game and how to deal with more skilful players than he could ever know how to coach - ‘If they beat you, take ‘em down and put in a ‘reducer’ every time.’
