Some ridiculous stats so far, still early days but we could be looking at crazy numbers this season if we can keep this up.

Based on league games only:

Sterling 1 goal every 59 minutes

Sane 1 goal every 78 minutes

Aguero 1 goal every 78 minutes

Jesus 1 goal every 84 minutes

We are lovely to watch and there have been some cracking goals in amongst that lot, Sergio nearly got another yesterday, but how many will be in the team of the year later in the season.

On that note Buzz, I see we didn't have a single player on the 55 man shortlist for FIFPRO World XI.

Remarkable job Pep is doing with that in mind.

Yes, It's as though we don't exist, they work as a team for each other and see the bigger picture and the better placed player to score, hence the reason we are banging them in for fun, even against teams with two buses. I know there are tougher games to come.

I posted this in the MotM thread but will repeat it here.......

Credit to Guardiola - his perseverance is paying off. The players are showing signs of ‘getting’ his message. For example - Agüero’s movement to collect the ball in the centre circle created the space for Sterling’s first, his unselfish pass across the six yard box set up Sterling for his second & he set Sané up for what should have been his second goal but he fluffed it. Last season the media was aghast and Guardiola was questioned for selecting Jesus over Agüero but he stuck to his guns, demanded more and has created a more ‘Team oriented’ Sergio Agüero - our goal scoring this season is in no small part, I suggest, down to this ethic as much as other factors.

I don’t expect the coach will get much credit from the hacks though. When we win like this they will credit the ‘quality of the players’, the ‘amount of money spent’ and ‘my mother could manage that team with the talent at his disposal’ whilst things went a bit awry last season they seemed to point the finger at the coach and whether he ‘got the Premier League’ and questioned whether he knew what he was doing.
