I feel your pain. Luckily our youngest City supporting son is back home again this weekend so Mr Skoorb is outnumbered and the plonking of the game smack bang in the middle of dinner time is going to have to be worked around

I think the loss of Bronze to Lyon I think will be a big loss and I cannot understand City not trying to do more to keep her.

A pretty poor challenge on first look by Parris on Evans of Arsenal, should have been a red, the latter will have a corker of a black eye. I do need to see the incident again. Commentators say that Nikita Parris lucky not to get a red.

Great goal to put City ahead Jane Ross converting Elmslie's cross on 40 mins, even though it has been end to end stuff City have created the better chances so far.

In the Parris and Evans clash, red card for me because it was a high foot and not in control of the challenge, very lucky to still be on the pitch.

No yellow either for Nikita, the ref adjuging either that Evans dipped her head or it was purely accidental.

A cracking equalizer from Arsenal from a corner Mitchell the Arsenal defender powers in a header and makes it 1-1 just before half time.

Well well well City go right back up field, Parris strike is put out for a corner by the Arsenal keeper and the resulting corner appears to be cleared only to Houghton who hits a stunner to put City back in front 2-1

Half time 2-1 good game, but City are missing Bronze and are trying McManus at right back but she is more of a central defender than a wing back like Lucy Bronze was and Cushing might just have to go into the market for a class defender.

3 good goals scored here in the first half that would grace any of the men's matches for quality.

COME ON CITY!

Comic cuts from City and Arsenal equalize , with a weak header from Arsenal and the ball just creeps over the line with desperate attempts to clear, you could only hold you hands in despair.

2-2

Parris who is woman of the match feeds Scott and she Silva like splits the defence with a pass to 18 Georgia Stanway and she puts the ball away to return City to the lead 3-2 with the Arsenal biased commentators wanting the female Gooners to win

Izzie Christensen finds herself one on one and scores in off the post 4-2 and game over one feels, but the Stanway has a strike saved as City pile it on looking for more goals 77 gone

5-2 good move by City out to the wing to Emslie, puts in a good cross Scott takes it in her stride and hits a rocket into the net good goal and well deserved.
