News of Sergio's rib injury will have had centre backs throughout the league readying their elbows to deliver a sharp jab into his midriff at the first corner or set piece......

Indeed, cortisone is great though.

Aguero's been quoted by an Argentinian sports channel saying that he doesn't know yet if hell be able to play at the weekend, will join the rest of the group today to test himself and see.

When I saw the video posted by City on Wednesday, I thought there was no chance of him being involved on Saturday.
Today there are reports of him being in full training - we'll see, but suspect if he's passed fit for selection, a bench place maybe the best option.

Your info was sound Colin

From the OS.....

Sergio Aguero completed a full training session, as City trained ahead of Saturday's visit of Stoke.

The Argentine had returned to training on Tuesday, following his injury sustained in a road accident but took part in the full.

The Blues welcome the Potters to the Etihad Stadium in a 3pm kick-off with Pep Guardiola's men sitting top of the Premier League table.

Whether Aguero will be fit enough to feature remains to be seen, though we'll have the latest team news from Guardiola on Friday afternoon...

Miserable lot of grizzling mercenaries

Well if he's controlling the ball on his chest before firing home it would seem he may be closer to making a first team appearance than I expected. Perhaps a place on the bench may indeed loom for Sergio. He has responded well to whatever magic treatment he has received

Will await Pep's update in his press conference today

Love that emoticon, that's it in a nutshell.

Remember Vinnie playing with a broken toe after receiving painkilling injections.

I've broken ribs twice, the first time I was back playing, heavily drugged, around 3 weeks later because it was our last game of the season and a title decider ( we won ).

The second occasion I was sat out for 6 months, in agony.
