Leicester City v Manchester City - 3pm Sat 18th Nov - Premier League Match Preview and MDT

If Walker moves into CB and Fernandinho to LB it may even mean a start for Toure?

First time we may have wholesale changes to the defensive unit this season - not the side I would have chosen to face for this conundrum to arise. We seem to have become Leicester's chosen 'raise your game' club.

But so much better than being everyone's 'whipping person' (I cannot say 'whipping boy' due to the obvious sexist and other overtones )......

We are up there and it is our job to stay there, dealing with whatever challenges come our way.

I do find it sad though that a lot of the punditry discussion has been along the lines of "how do we stop them?" rather than a celebration of the standard of football that Guardiola has coached his side into producing.

I agree Skoorb, it's the kind of football that makes you want to watch, but it must be hard for the players as well with the pressure of being unbeaten unless it does not enter their heads.

I love what Yaya has done for the Club and he alone has been responsible for some great wins, but if he is to play he need to quicken his game and Leicester are no snails.

He could play Ferna at Left back or Sané its a gamble and I don't see Delph playing if he did not train

Looking at it from Leicester's point of view, would they rather see Sane at LB or outside left? Their right back will be bricking it. Zinchenko at LB - if Danilo is required in central defence?

Pep talked at the presser of having a plan for tomorrow, which got me wondering what this might be - a left field Pepism?

The idea of Sane as a left wing back was exposed against Everton. I still think/hope Delph will play tomorrow, but, if not, Danilo or Zinchenko to cover, although the latter might be exposed by pace.

I've gone - Ederson, Walker, Stones, Mangala, Delph, Fernie, Sterling, D Silva, De Bruyne, Sane, G Jesus

Danilo, Kompany, Toure, B Silva, Gundogan, Aguero

Back to business. Got an odd feeling about this one today. It is rare for an on form team to fly out of the blocks after an International break. This City side have so far broken the mould this season. We face a combination of trickiness today. Defensive based Puel and a Leicester side who always raise their levels against us like Everton. If we get an early goal however we should do the job, but I am sensing a 1-1....

Why is this yet another 3pm kick off? 3pm is for the Stoke Cities, the Bournemouths and Southamptons of this world - we are special and special teams get to play under the evening floodlights and on the telly.

Sky should be told.

we are a lot better than we were last season and if Puel defends we have several keys to undo the defensive lock.

9 games coming in December from 3rd to 31st a game every 3 days - and they say January is a bad month for City.
